For my first ever blog,
Is it too early to be thinking about Christmas?
In the world of craft... no, Christmas is merely round the corner for us crafters. We have a lot to pack into a short window. 3 Months might seems like a million miles off, (especially when this year has stood still for so many) but for crafters like myself, who set themselves higher targets (and often have higher demand) around Christmas, the mad rush has already begun!
How can I manage my time to make all I need?
What inventory do I already have and what do I need to get?
When and Where can I sell my creations?
These are just some of the questions which I've been asking myself since early June. Given the situation regarding Covid these decisions have been made increasingly difficult, not only when and where can I sell, but what are the restrictions and even will the fairs be open for face to face selling?
For the time being, I will stick to what I know best, crafting! I've got the website, I've got my facebook page and I've got word of mouth from previous buyers to keep me occupied for now.
Look out for the next blog post when I will be documenting so more details about what I've been doing in the run up to Christmas, and anything I find exciting that I want to share with all of you.
